Chloe, Maya and Will travel to Montana with Chloe’s grandfather, Professor Cooper Wendleton, on an archeological dig.

While helping to dig for dinosaur bones, they discover a cave that no human being has entered in more than three hundred years. Inside this cave they discover an ancient stone idol with strange, deadly powers. On the walls of the cave they discover writing in a language no one can understand.

It is a warning to leave the stone idol alone.
Horrible death awaits anyone who comes
into contact with it. However, by the time the writing is deciphered, it is already too late.      
One by one the members of the archeological team die, and the three children realize that they must solve the curse of the stone idol before it kills them all.
And with mounting horror they realize something else: the stone idol is ALIVE.
